Figurative Sculpture
The following things will be done for final. Please read each description to see where this work should be at this point in the course:
Skeleton - this should be completely constructed and refined. I have noticed some of yours trashed on the floor. You must submit your skeleton for final and have professional-caliber photographs of it to submit digitally.
Skull - this work should be completely constructed and refined so that you can use it to create a meaningful installation of your design. It should be drying and ready to bisque very soon.
Hands & Feet - this work should be completely constructed and refined so that you can use these parts to create a meaningful installation of your design. It should be drying and ready to bisque very soon.
Final Piece - this work should be well underway and nearing building completion. It should do two things simultaneously. First, it should be meaningful and inspired by external research. Second, it should showcase techniques you have learned in the class this semester. Be prepared to craft your research and perspective into a well-written statement that supports what the audience sees in the work visually. If you do not have this piece started, you are in danger of not being finished for the semester.
Content Portfolio
This week should have been your 3 critique looking at the calendar for the course. Since I received no statements today in class to use for said critique, I am extending the deadline for talking about physical work to next Tuesday. This means your statements will be due this week during next class [printed out for me to collect]. If you have your printed statement I will know that you have looked at the blog to find your homework:)
